Join us on October 8, 2025 at the historic Ahn House (USC) as we honor the creation of Hangul (한글), Korea’s unique and remarkable writing system.
Hangul Day (한글날) is celebrated in Korea every October 9 to commemorate the invention and proclamation of Hangul. We are excited to bring this meaningful tradition to our community here in Los Angeles!
- Try your hand at Hangul calligraphy & write your name or family motto
- Make handwritten frames, consonant-vowel bracelets, and eco-bag stencils
- Experience hanbok and traditional Korean games
- Enjoy delicious tteokbokki & kimbap
