Who We Are

The King Sejong Institute Center, U.S.A. (KSIC), located in Los Angeles, serves as a central hub for Korean cultural awareness across the United States. KSIC not only oversees other King Sejong Institutes in North America but also offers diverse language education programs and cultural experiences for LA residents. By fostering meaningful connections with those who love the Korean language, KSIC inspires all who aspire to visit Korea to pursue their dreams.

Our Mission

KSIC's mission is to connect with people through the Korean language and support everyone interested in exploring Korea on a deeper level. We offer Korean language education and cultural experiences while honoring and embracing the diversity of ethnicities, races, and cultures. With no political agenda, KSIC is dedicated solely to promoting friendship and mutual understanding between the United States and Korea.

Our Teachers

All teachers at KSIC adhere to the highest standards of certification, with many holding licenses issued by the Republic of Korea to teach Korean as a foreign language. They are true experts in their field, with many holding advanced degrees and extensive experience teaching abroad.

About the Curriculum

From beginner to advanced courses

KSIC offers courses from beginner to advanced levels, using a curriculum developed by the National Institute of Korean Language, which has been successfully implemented in over 180 locations across 60 countries. To enhance language learning, KSIC integrates cultural experiences into its programs, fostering a deeper understanding and more meaningful learning experience.
